With a strong background in commercial steel estimation, I have developed skills that enable me to navigate challenges and produce effectively. My expertise lies in structured, traceable, transferable takeoffs, as well as "future-proofing" or accounting for actual shop and/or site situations.
Throughout my career, I have embraced opportunities that allowed me to grow both personally and professionally. From my role starting in the shop as a machine programmer understanding beamline, press break, and plate machine tendencies and quirks, I have gained invaluable insights that are utilized to this day with deep found respect. I believe in continuous learning and advancing enough over time to where each day was better than the prior's on average.

Experience:
Overview
Rooted in misc. metal, the 0550 section, of pre-con with evolution into structural. Project managed a large misc. metal package for an airport with high liquidated damages that required MBE, prevalent wages, and extensive back-ups for billings and change orders. That resulted in above average profit margins while needing to utilize 80% sub-fabrication due to our shop's unavailability from overselling and backlog.
Career Highlights
Worked extensively on the beforementioned airport project that was a rescue for a large GC after initial fabricator closed business and left them scrambling. For which I assisted, I was able to provide crucial steel members while still in the pre-con phase which translated into full oversight of project from solicitation to completion. I have never hidden from any mistake and will always address them upon notice to prevent further impact and assign personal responsibility. Treatment of fair, honest, and empathetic practices.
